Wrapping up the NavigationServer
Following the last update, the NavigationServer topic is now complete!
The NavigationServer documentation now goes into detail on how I set up the demo scene. This includes orienting enemies to look towards the player, dealing and taking damage with the ShapeCast3D node, triggering the enemies with the Area3D node, and using the NavigationLink3D node to make the enemies jump from the high ground down to the low ground.
What's next?
This has ended up being one of the largest chapters so far - so next on my agenda is a supporting youtube video to help anyone getting up to speed and setting up their own navigation agents.
When that is wrapped up its onto another big topic - Godot Physics!
See you in the next one ✨
