Chapter 6 - The Card Game
Happy new year! I have just finished editing the first four sections of the next major topic for the course - how to make a 3D card game in Godot!
Card Game sections
This topic has four sections:
1. Introduction and Setup.
2. Making a Card Scene.
3. Scripting a Card.
4. A hand of Cards.
This guide has a public GitHub repository for help following along - with a commit for each section.

Document generation
As with all the other topics in the course I am generating html documents, but for this topic I am using some new systems for exporting and packaging the files.
These will look different - having new CSS but have some added features like copy buttons for extracting code from the documentation. Feedback on this new format would be much appreciated.

What's next
I am currently full steam ahead working on the card game course so the next updates should be subsequent sets of 4 documents.
If you have any feedback or questions please do jump into the official discord channel.
See you in the next one ✨

When will this course be finished?
I've been really bad at all my estimations so far - but I'm aiming to get the card game section done over the next two months - the 2D topic afterwards should be quicker, but the 6 what's new in Godot 4 sections are really hard to estimate
