Godot 4 Alpha 5 is out
This release updates the target of the course to alpha 5 as well as greatly improving the quality of the first bundle of guides.
If you want to update projects to Alpha 5 there are a fair few significant changes you need to be wary of. Mainly the property names of control nodes having changed drastically as well as some properties in Particles.
It has been a long week of updating my production tools, but we now have some serious improvements to the guides.
I addressed all the issues I encountered last week, and we now have:
- Syntax highlighting for GDScript 2.0.
- PDF exports.
- Inline icons for all Godot 4 objects.
Side note:
I have been working on a Ludum Dare 50 entry this weekend, which will be a released game made with Godot 4! This has been a great opportunity to try out some new things to add to the next load of demos
