I'm back!
Tweens and Decal Guides
Apologies for the delay! Unfortunately, over the last month I have been struggling with Covid and its aftereffects which has seriously affected my ability to produce content. But for the last week I have been approaching my usual abilities and have put out two written guides for the next chapter to offer you.
These two guides explain all the nitty gritty details and points to bear in mind when using the overhauled Tweens and brand-new Decal nodes, as well as going into some detail on how I used them in the Godot 4 Beginners source code itself.
Unfortunately my guide production scripts are having trouble with producing PDF files again so as a temporary measure the guides are exclusively in HTML format.
Roadmap status
With my recent illness and other complications related to keeping the course up to date the previous roadmap is going to need the dates updated, so apologies for that. But rest assured my full focus is on this course and getting the content out - so I will be posting the roadmap with a revised timeline in the next update.
What is next on the agenda
- Updating the course to Godot 4 Alpha 8
- A new demo for compute shaders in Godot 4
- A Godot 4 supplementary YouTube tutorial
- More Guides for chapter 3
Super happy to be back to work, enjoy the guides and stay posted for the next bundle - cheers!
