Cards of Mallardy!
Cards of Mallardy is now available!
One of my greatest desires for this project was to have some full examples of small games made with Godot 4 so you can see how a more complete project is put together. And after a month of dev work I've got one!
Cards of Mallardy is a small roguelite card game, where you can build a deck of cards to try and take on the king of the castle.
You get access to the full source code, should you wish to expand on it or just see how all the moving pieces of a game fit together. It is also going to be a resource for more guides in the future, especially for some practical tutorials.
With this major content update I'm going to have a sale for the following 2 weeks, so get in there!
Godot 4 alpha 12
The latest alpha has just released and with that I have updated the course to work on this latest version. There have also been some exciting communications about the possibility of Godot 4 entering beta in the not-too-distant future. That would be a significant milestone as less of my development time would be needed for fixing transitions between Godot versions as the project would enter feature freeze.
Next on the agenda
With all that up and running I'm going to be focusing on making more supplementary videos and writing more of the guides. I still need to republish the roadmap with a more accurate timeline in mind as well.
Thanks and enjoy!
